32. Formal Translation
If, in human terms, I fought with wild beasts in Ephesus, what is the benefit to me if the dead are not raised? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.
32. Dynamic Translation
If I battled wild beasts at Ephesus only from a human viewpoint, what do I gain if the dead are not raised? Then we might as well eat and drink, because tomorrow we will die.
