7. Formal Translation
But this knowledge is not in everyone. Some, because of their habit up to now concerning the idol, eat the food as something offered to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
7. Dynamic Translation
However, not everyone has this knowledge. Some people, because of their past association with the idol, still eat such sacrificial food as if it were truly offered to an idol, and since their conscience is weak, it becomes defiled.
