2. Formal Translation And his servants said to him, “Let them seek for my lord the king a young virgin and let her stand before the king as an attendant for him, so that she may lie in your bosom and my lord the king may be warm.” |
2. Dynamic Translation So his attendants said to him, “Let us look for an unmarried young woman to serve my lord the king. She can stand before the king as a caregiver and lie in your arms {kheik: bosom, seat of intimacy} so that my lord the king will stay warm.” |
