33. Formal Translation And he went up upon the altar that he had made at Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the month he had devised from his own heart, and he instituted a festival for the children of Israel; then he went up upon the altar to burn incense. |
33. Dynamic Translation He ascended the altar he had set up at Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month—a month of his own choosing—and he held a festival for the Israelites. Then he went up upon the altar to make offerings. |
