7. Formal Translation And they spoke to him, saying, “If today you become a servant to this people and serve them, and answer them, and speak words to them, then they will be your servants all your days.” |
7. Dynamic Translation They replied, “If you become a servant to this people today and serve them, and respond to them kindly, and speak graciously to them, then they will be your servants all your days.” |
