| 43. Formal Translation He walked in all the ways of his father Asa and did not turn aside from them, doing what was right in the eyes of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Standard}. However, the high places were not removed, and the people continued sacrificing and burning incense on the high places. |
| 43. Dynamic Translation He followed the ways of his father Asa and did not stray from them, doing what was right in the sight of the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Guide}. Yet the high places remained, and the people kept offering sacrifices and burning incense at the high places. |
