28. Formal Translation And all Israel heard the judgment that the king had rendered, and they were in awe of the king, because they saw that the wisdom of God {Elohim, Divine Source} was in him to administer justice. |
28. Dynamic Translation When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they stood in awe of the king, because they recognized that God’s {Elohim, Wisdom Giver} wisdom was in him for carrying out fair judgments. |
