4. Formal Translation
Since we are still in this tent, we groan, weighed down—not because we desire to be unclothed, but to be clothed over, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
4. Dynamic Translation
As long as we live in this earthly tent, we groan under its burden—not that we long to shed our covering, but that we may be covered even more, so that our mortal condition will be swallowed up by life.
