18. Formal Translation
And he said, “Take the arrows,” and the king of Israel took them. Then he said, “Strike the ground,” and the king struck it three times and ceased.
18. Dynamic Translation
The king of Israel picked up the arrows and, at the prophet’s instruction, struck the ground three times before stopping.
