25. Formal Translation And Jehoash restored and took the cities from the hand of Ben-Hadad son of Hazael, which he had taken from the hand of his father Jehoahaz in the war. Three times Joash struck him, and he restored the cities of Israel. |
25. Dynamic Translation Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz, reclaimed the towns from Ben-Hadad son of Hazael that had been taken from his father Jehoahaz during the war. Joash defeated him three times and recovered the towns of Israel. |
