Exegesis

A relative clause meha-kohanim asher higlitem misham {מֵהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִגְלִיתֶ֣ם מִשָּׁ֔ם | mē-hā-kō-hă-nîm ʾăšer hig-gə-lî-tem mi-šām} ‘from the priests whom you exiled from there’ specifies the returning individual.
