37. Formal Translation
Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah, who was over the house, Shebna the scribe, and Joah son of Asaph the recorder came to Hezekiah with torn garments and reported to him the words of Rabshakeh.
37. Dynamic Translation
Eliakim son of Hilkiah, the palace administrator, Shebna the scribe, and Joah son of Asaph the record keeper went to Hezekiah with torn clothes and told him what Rabshakeh had said.
