5. Formal Translation And the sons of the prophets at Jericho approached Elisha and asked him, “Do you know that today the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Remover} is taking your master from over your head?” And he replied, “I also know; be silent.” |
5. Dynamic Translation Then the prophetic group from Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you realize that today the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Initiator} will take your master away from you?” He answered, “Yes, I know—keep quiet.” |
