   and came Isaiah the prophet to the king Hezekiah and he said to him what they said the men these and from where did they come to you and he said Hezekiah from a land far they have come from Babylon

Exegesis

In response, the locative phrase mēʾereṣ reḥōqāh {מֵאֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה | mēʾereṣ reḥōqāh} ‘from a distant land’ is fronted before bāʾû {בָּאוּ | bāʾû} ‘they came’ for emphasis, with mibbāvel {מִבָּבֶל | mibbāvel} specifying Babylon.
