2 Kings 6:33:1עוֹדֶ֙נּוּ֙odennuwhile he was still
2 Kings 6:33:2מְדַבֵּ֣רmedaberspeaking 2 Kings 6:33:3עִמָּ֔םimamwith them 2 Kings 6:33:4וְהִנֵּ֥הvehineand behold 2 Kings 6:33:5הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְhamalakhthe messenger 2 Kings 6:33:6יֹרֵ֣דyoredcoming down 2 Kings 6:33:7אֵלָ֑יוelavto him 2 Kings 6:33:8וַיֹּ֗אמֶרvayomerand he said 2 Kings 6:33:9הִנֵּֽה־זֹ֤אתhinezotbehold, this 2 Kings 6:33:10הָֽרָעָה֙haraathe evil 2 Kings 6:33:11מֵאֵ֣תmeetfrom 2 Kings 6:33:12יְהוָ֔הyahwehthe LORD 2 Kings 6:33:13מָֽה־אוֹחִ֥ילmaokhilwhy should I wait 2 Kings 6:33:14לַיהוָ֖הlayahwehfor the LORD 2 Kings 6:33:15עֽוֹד׃סodany longer
33. Formal Translation
While he was still speaking with them, behold, the messenger was coming down to him. And the messenger said, “Behold, this disaster is from the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge}; why should I wait for the LORD any longer?”
33. Dynamic Translation
While he was still talking with them, suddenly the messenger arrived and said, “Look, this calamity is from the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}. Why should I keep hoping for the LORD any longer?”
