18. Formal Translation And it happened just as the man of God {Elohim, God of Israel} had spoken to the king, saying, “Two seahs of barley for a shekel and a seah of fine flour for a shekel; it will be about this time tomorrow at the gate of Samaria.” |
18. Dynamic Translation Exactly as the man of God {Elohim, Source of Prophecy} had told the king, “Tomorrow at this time at the gate of Samaria, two measures of barley will sell for one shekel and one measure of fine flour for one shekel.” |
