1. Formal Translation
Elisha addressed the woman whose son he had brought back to life, saying, “Rise and go, you and your household, and dwell wherever you can; for the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Provider} has called for a famine, and it will come upon the land for seven years.”
1. Dynamic Translation
Elisha said to the woman whose son he had revived, “Get up and leave with your household. Stay wherever you find shelter, for the LORD {Yahweh, Life Arranger} has called a famine that will afflict this land for seven years.”
