19. Formal Translation And he sent a second horseman, and he came to them and said, “Thus says the king: ‘Peace?’” And Jehu replied, “What do you have to do with peace? Turn behind me.” |
19. Dynamic Translation So the king sent another horseman. When he arrived, he said, “This is what the king wants to know: ‘Is everything all right?’” But Jehu declared, “Why are you concerned about peace? Fall in behind me.” |
