| 15. Formal Translation And now that I have come to speak to the king, my lord, about this matter because the people have made me afraid. And your maidservant said, “Let me speak, please, to the king; perhaps he will grant the petition of his maidservant.” |
| 15. Dynamic Translation Now that I have come to speak to you, my lord the king, about this because the people have frightened me, your servant thought, “Let me speak to the king; perhaps he will grant my request.” |
