Exegesis

The Niphal imperfect vayinnatsu {وַיִּנָּצ֤וּ | wayyinnāṣû} marks reciprocal action ‘they fought,’ with the dual construct shneihem {שְׁנֵיהֶם֙ | šənêhêm} specifying both participants.
