Exegesis

The vav-consecutive Qal perfect wəḥāzqū yədēy kol-ʾăšer ʾittāḵ {וְחָזְקוּ יְדֵ֖י כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתָּֽךְ | wəḥāzqū yədēy kol-ʾăšer ʾittāḵ} conveys the strengthening of his supporters. The Hebrew clause order—command, justification, consequence—is preserved to maintain the rhetorical force of the counsel.
