9. Formal Translation
Behold, now he is hiding in one of the pits or in one of the places, and it will be, when some of them fall at the beginning, that whoever hears will say, “A slaughter has occurred among the people who follow Absalom.”
9. Dynamic Translation
Even now, he is hidden in a ravine or some other place. If some of them are struck down at the initial stage, anyone who hears will say, “There has been a devastating defeat among the troops who follow Absalom.”
