22. Formal Translation
And Ahimaaz, the son of Zadok, added again and said to Joab, “Whatever may happen, please let me also run after the Cushite.” And Joab said to him, “Why are you running, my son? You will have no reward for the news.”
22. Dynamic Translation
Ahimaaz, son of Zadok, spoke up once more to Joab, “No matter what, please let me run after the Cushite too.” But Joab replied, “My son, why do you want to run? You have no message that will be of any use.”
