After these events, David inquired of the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Guide}, “Should I go up into one of Judah’s cities?” The LORD said to him, “Go up.” David asked, “Where should I go up?” He answered, “To Hebron.”
1. Dynamic Translation
Later David asked the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Counselor}, “Should I move up to a town in Judah?” The LORD replied, “Go.” David said, “Which town?” He said, “Hebron.”
