| 17. Formal Translation As for Me {Elohim, Supreme Judge}—behold, I am bringing the flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh that has the breath of life from under the heavens; everything that is on the earth will perish. |
| 17. Dynamic Translation Look, I {Elohim, Judge of All} am going to bring a flood of waters over the earth to wipe out every creature that has the breath of life under the sky. Everything on the earth will die. |
