Exegesis
The vocative Andres {Ἄνδρες | Án-dres} ‘men’ marks formal address, followed immediately by the interrogative ti {τί | tí} ‘why’, which, together with poieite {ποιεῖτε | poi-eî-te} ‘are you doing’, forms a direct rhetorical question confronting the crowd’s actions.
