Daniel 1:2:1וַיִּתֵּן֩vayitten{And He} gave
Daniel 1:2:2אֲדֹנָ֨יadonaiLord Daniel 1:2:3בְּיָד֜וֹbeyadointo his hand Daniel 1:2:4אֶת־יְהוֹיָקִ֣יםetyehoyakimJehoiakim Daniel 1:2:5מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֗הmelekhyehudaking of Judah Daniel 1:2:6וּמִקְצָת֙umiktsatand some of Daniel 1:2:7כְּלֵ֣יkelethe vessels of Daniel 1:2:8בֵית־הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔יםbethaelohimthe house of God Daniel 1:2:9וַיְבִיאֵ֥םvayeviem{And} He brought them Daniel 1:2:10אֶֽרֶץ־שִׁנְעָ֖רeretsshinarto the land of Shinar Daniel 1:2:11בֵּ֣יתbethouse of Daniel 1:2:12אֱלֹהָ֑יוelohavhis god Daniel 1:2:13וְאֶת־הַכֵּלִ֣יםveethakelimand the vessels Daniel 1:2:14הֵבִ֔יאheviHe brought Daniel 1:2:15בֵּ֖יתbethouse of Daniel 1:2:16אוֹצַ֥רotsarthe treasury of Daniel 1:2:17אֱלֹהָֽיו׃elohavhis god
2. Formal Translation
And the Lord {Adonai, Sovereign Disposer} gave Jehoiakim, king of Judah, into his power, along with some of the vessels from the house of God {Elohim, Source of Sanctity}; and he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and put the vessels into the treasury of his god.
2. Dynamic Translation
The Lord {Adonai, Ruler of Nations} allowed Jehoiakim, king of Judah, to fall under his power along with some of the vessels from God’s {Elohim, Sanctuary Guardian} temple. Nebuchadnezzar brought these items to Shinar, into the temple of his god, and stored them in his god’s treasury.
