If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you needing mercy. I admit that I have sinned, ignored your voice, and tried to live on my own. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, ask you to forgive me, and ask you to speak to me and lead me from here. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Receive the One Who Calls Your Name

Lord, revive your Church so we listen when you speak and do not rush past your word. Make us a people who receive your message with humility, stand ready for your sending, and tremble with holy awe instead of pride. Awaken our hearts, steady our feet, and send us where you will, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Listen

Father, thank you that you cherish and value your people. Thank you that your word comes to us with care, not neglect, and that you call us to respond. Teach me gratitude for being seen and gratitude for being spoken to, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Your Valuing Word

Pray by naming one place where you have been distracted or slow to hear. Ask God to make you teachable, to help you stand firm where he has placed you, and to show you one clear step of obedience today.

Pray to Listen Well

Pray for someone who feels unseen or unworthy: that they would know they are cherished, hear God's word with peace, and find courage to stand where he has placed them. Ask the Lord to give them clear direction and help.

For the Overlooked

Lord, train my heart to pay attention when you speak. Keep me from shrugging off your word, and keep me from collapsing in fear when you call me to obey. Make me steady, humble, and ready to move when you send, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
