8. Formal Translation But at last Daniel came before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom was the spirit of the holy gods; and before him I told the dream. |
8. Dynamic Translation Finally Daniel came into my presence—the one whose Babylonian name is Belteshazzar, given after the name of my god—and there is in him a spirit from the holy gods; so I described the dream to him in full. |
