| 14. Formal Translation When you enter the land that the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Covenant Giver} is giving you, and you take possession of it and live in it, and you say, “Let me appoint a king over me like all the nations around me.” |
| 14. Dynamic Translation When you come into the land the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Promise Keeper} is giving you, and you settle there, and you say, “I want a king to rule over me like the nations around me.” |
