| 8. Formal Translation And the officers shall address the people again and say, “Who is the man who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house so that he does not cause the heart of his brothers to melt like his own.” |
| 8. Dynamic Translation Then the officers will also announce, “Is there any man who is timid or lacking resolve? Let him depart and go home so that he will not dishearten his companions.” |
