| 13. Formal Translation Then she shall take off the garment of her captivity and remain in your house; she shall weep for her father and her mother a full month. After that, you may go in to her and be her husband, and she shall be to you as a wife. |
| 13. Dynamic Translation She must take off her captive’s clothes and stay in your house. She will mourn her father and mother for a month, performing mourning. After that you may go in to her and be her husband, and she will be your wife. |
