13. Formal Translation And I set my heart to seek and to explore with wisdom concerning all that is done under the heavens; it is a grievous task that God {Elohim, Sovereign Assigner} has given to the children of man to be afflicted with it. |
13. Dynamic Translation I devoted myself to search out and explore with wisdom everything that happens under the sky; God {Elohim, Purpose Giver} has given people this difficult trouble to keep them busy. |
