Ecclesiastes 10:11:1אִם־יִשֹּׁ֥ךְimyishokhif he bites
Ecclesiastes 10:11:2הַנָּחָ֖שׁhanakhashthe serpent Ecclesiastes 10:11:3בְּלוֹא־לָ֑חַשׁbelolakhashwithout whispering or enchantment Ecclesiastes 10:11:4וְאֵ֣יןveenand there is not Ecclesiastes 10:11:5יִתְר֔וֹןyitreonadvantage or profit Ecclesiastes 10:11:6לְבַ֖עַלlevaalto the master of Ecclesiastes 10:11:7הַלָּשֽׁוֹן׃halashonthe tongue
11. Formal Translation
If the serpent bites without incantation, there is no advantage to the master of the tongue.
11. Dynamic Translation
If a snake bites before any charm is applied, the charmer gains no profit.
