26. Formal Translation And I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets—her heart is bonds, her hands are fetters. The one who is good before God {Elohim, Righteous Judge} will escape from her, but the sinner will be captured by her. |
26. Dynamic Translation I have found that a woman whose heart is a trap and whose hands are like chains is even more bitter than death. Anyone who pleases God {Elohim, Righteous Approver} will get away from her, but a sinner will be caught by her. |
