1. Formal Translation
For all this I set my mind to examine each of these things: the righteous, the wise, and their deeds are in the hand of God {Elohim, Sovereign Upholder}. Moreover, neither love nor hatred does a person know—all lies before them.
1. Dynamic Translation
So I took all this to heart and saw that the actions of the righteous and the wise are under God’s {Elohim, Supreme Ruler} authority. No one knows whether love or hatred awaits them—all is before them.
