12. Formal Translation
No person can know his own time: like fish caught in a harmful net and birds taken in the snare, so the sons of man are caught in an evil season when it descends upon them suddenly.
12. Dynamic Translation
No one can predict when their moment will come: as fish are caught in a net and birds are trapped in a snare, so people are ensnared by a difficult time when it falls upon them without warning.
