22. Formal Translation And he sent letters to all the provinces of the king, to each province in its own script and to each people in its own language, for every man to be ruler in his own house and to speak in the language of his people. |
22. Dynamic Translation He sent dispatches to all the king’s provinces, to each province in its own script and to each group in its own language, so that every man would be the head of his household and speak the tongue of his people. |
