8. Formal Translation When the king’s order was heard, and many girls were gathered into Susa, the citadel under Gai’s authority, Esther also was brought to Gai, the guardian of the women. |
8. Dynamic Translation When the royal decree was announced, many young women were assembled in the citadel of Susa and placed under Gai’s care; Esther too was taken to him, the keeper of the women. |
