11. Formal Translation
All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that there is one law for any man or woman who enters the king’s inner court without being summoned: they must be put to death, unless the king extends the golden scepter toward them, and they shall live. But I have not been summoned to come to the king these thirty days.
11. Dynamic Translation
Everyone who serves the king and everyone in his provinces understands this rule: if anyone enters the king’s inner court without being called, the penalty is death—unless the king extends his golden scepter to let them live. But I have not been called to approach the king for thirty days.
