14. Formal Translation And it shall be, when your son asks you tomorrow, saying “What is this?”, that you shall say to him, “With a mighty hand the LORD {Yahweh, Deliverer from Bondage} brought us out from Egypt, from the house of slaves.” |
14. Dynamic Translation In the days ahead, when your son asks, “What does this mean?”, you will answer him, “The LORD {Yahweh, Rescuer and Redeemer} brought us out from Egypt by His powerful hand, freeing us from the house of slavery.” |
