19. Formal Translation And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for Joseph had exacted an oath from the sons of Israel, saying, “God {Elohim, Faithful Fulfiller} will surely visit you, and you shall bring up my bones from here with you.” |
19. Dynamic Translation Moses carried Joseph’s bones with him because Joseph had firmly bound the Israelites by oath, “God {Elohim, Promise Keeper} will certainly come to you, and you shall take my bones with you from this place.” |
