13. Formal Translation So the people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shouting from the sound of the weeping, for the shout was so great that the sound was heard from far away. |
13. Dynamic Translation No one could tell the joyful shouts from the crying, because the noise swelled into one loud roar and was heard from far off. |
