2. Formal Translation Then Jeshua son of Jozadak, with his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, with his brothers, rose and built the altar of the God {Elohim, Worship Recipient} of Israel, so that they might offer burnt offerings upon it, just as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God. |
2. Dynamic Translation Jeshua son of Jozadak and the priests with him, along with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and his companions, stood up and rebuilt the altar of the God {Elohim, Restorer of Worship} of Israel, so they could present burnt offerings on it exactly as it is written in the teaching of Moses the man of God. |
