The independent pronoun hi {הִוא | hî} ‘she’ resumes the subject before the restrictive particles akh {אַךְ | ʾaḵ} ‘only; however’ and lo {לֹא | lō} ‘not’ introduce a contrast with bat immi {בַת־אִמִּי | bat-ʾim-mî} ‘daughter of my mother.’
