| 3. Formal Translation But God {Elohim, Sovereign Intervener} came to Abimelech in a night dream and said, “Look, you are a dead man because of the woman you have taken, for she is married to a husband.” |
| 3. Dynamic Translation But God {Elohim, Protective Judge} confronted Abimelech in a dream during the night and said, “You are doomed to die because of the woman you took, since she is another man’s wife.” |
