| 24. Formal Translation About three months later it was reported to Judah, “Tamar your daughter-in-law has committed harlotry, and moreover, behold, she is pregnant by harlotries.” Then Judah said, “Bring her out and let her be burned.” |
| 24. Dynamic Translation After about three months, Judah heard, “Your daughter-in-law Tamar has behaved like a prostitute, and now she is pregnant because of sexual immorality.” Judah commanded, “Bring her out and burn her.” |
