10. Formal Translation
And the eyes of Israel were heavy from old age, so he was not able to see. So Joseph brought them near to him, and he kissed them and embraced them.
10. Dynamic Translation
Israel’s eyes had grown dim from old age, so he could no longer see. So Joseph brought them close to him, and he kissed and hugged them.
