The direct object marker et {אֶת | ʾet} introduces benot ha'adam {בְּנוֹת הָאָדָם | bə-nôṯ hā-ʾā-ḏām} ‘daughters of humanity’, and the conjunction ki {כִּי | kî} launches the evaluation clause with tovot henna {טֹבֹת הֵנָּה | ṭō-ḇōṯ hēn-nāh} ‘that they were beautiful’.
