8. Formal Translation
The highways lie desolate; the wayfarer ceases, he has broken the covenant, he despises the cities and does not regard man.
8. Dynamic Translation
The roads lie deserted, travelers no longer pass by. The agreement is broken, cities are scorned, and people are disregarded.
